La Piana degli ulivi is also a Senior Residence (Senior Housing) born from an idea of the owners, Mario and Lea, with the aim of creating a family environment in the countryside to offer comfortable accommodation to self-sufficient elderly people wishing to spend their time in a safe environment, in total relaxation and in contact with nature.
For the owners, growing up in a Southern family where respect and care for the elderly are fundamental values has contributed to a warm, welcoming and familiar environment combined with high-quality standards of care.
Structure and Activities
The country residence for the elderly (Senior Residence) combines sociability, independence, protection and comfort.
The structure has six air-conditioned two-room apartments with private bathroom and kitchenette, TV in the room.
The accommodations overlook the garden immersed in a park of centuries-old olive trees, with a common area for social, recreational and educational activities, a small gym for physical activities, the swimming pool and the bio-garden.
The Residence is only 800 meters from the town where there are primary services such as pharmacy, bar, grocery and 2 km from the city center of Corigliano-Rossano, a thriving coastal town home to the main hospital facility.
The elderly at Piana degli Ulivi can choose to spend short or long periods on holiday or in residence, taking advantage of the numerous services offered.

- 24 hour on-call assistance service with specialized staff (doctors, nurses and external OSS)
- Two-room apartments on the ground floor, air conditioned with bathroom and kitchenette, equipped with crockery, bed linen and towels and daily cleaning.
- Quality food prepared with products from the garden or from local zero-mile producers agreed with the nutritionist based on the needs and ages of the guests, all managed by internal staff.
